CRP Subsea exhibit innovative Cable Protection System at Global Offshore Wind 2022

CRP Subsea will exhibit its innovative cable protection system, NjordGuard, at the Global Offshore Wind exhibition that takes place at Manchester Central from 21 to 22 June, 2022.

Andy Smith, Global CPS Manager for CRP Subsea, states: “With a track-record as subsea polymer engineering experts and over 30 years’ experience, we take pride in our renowned engineering capabilities and our approach to offshore wind cable protection systems for both fixed and floating foundations.”

CRP Subsea is contributing to solving offshore wind challenges for its customers with the development of NjordGuard, a unique cable protection system designed and developed to protect offshore windfarm power cables.

Global Offshore Wind 2022

NjordGuard is easily assembled on a vessel to allow speedy installation, while it’s highly abrasion resistant API 17L certified Uraduct® material enables it to travel over the seabed without damage, extending cable life. Most importantly, it facilitates installation, reuse and removal without diver and ROV intervention, optimising efficiency and maximising safety.

Organised by RenewableUK, Global Offshore Wind 2022 is the largest dedicated offshore wind event in the UK. Taking place over two days, the dynamic programme is focused on “The Next Generation” and features industry leaders and policy makers sharing invaluable market insights.
